This measurement method has the problems of large error, long lag time, samples are easily affected by the environment, and the glue is easily contaminated during the measurement process.

The other properties of the superabsorbent resin were characterized, such as water retention at different temperatures or pressures, grafting rate, water absorption rate, comparison of liquid absorption under different salinity, and the responsiveness of water-absorbing gel to saline. The results showed that: The prepared superabsorbent resin has better water retention, higher grafting rate and faster water absorption rate. Analysis shows that the superabsorbent resin is a graft copolymer of gelatin and monomer, which is a homogeneous polymer, not a simple addition. The exploratory study on the biodegradation performance discusses the degradation effect of the activated sludge method on the superabsorbent resin. Through the comparison of several groups of experiments, it can be concluded that the natural polymer gelatin can be degraded in about 10 days, and then the synthetic polymer polymer Polyacrylic acid and polyacrylamide can also degrade a part.
